Scottish captain Jason White celebrated his 50th cap by leading a Scotland team to win a game completely against the form book and the punters. After selection Yannick Jauzion was declared unfit to play. His place was taken by Valbon who moved in from the bench. Valbon's place was taken by uncapped Guillaume Bousses.
