MATCH NOTES
A good win to Australia in slippery conditions after a week of heavy rain. Gregan made his 119th test cap equalling the world record set by England and Lions prop Jason Lenoard. McIsaac, at aged 31, Blake, Valentine and Shepherd were making their test debut for Australia. Richards, Brown and Lund were making their test debut for England.
